Born and raised in Michigan, Jeff Zander (Z Factor/Music Artist
and Zander/Artwork) moved to Tampa Florida just after Hurricane Andrew in 1992.
Was inspired to create music as early as 1986 back in High School in Michigan
and creating artwork, mostly photographic imagery/art, since after moving to
Florida. Zander found the natural beauty of Florida to be very appealing and
sometimes so beautiful that it had to be recorded into images. Progressing,
Zander started to take pictures of Florida landscapes, sunsets, concerts,
fireworks, and architectural environments. He has even gone as far as entering a
Technical Institute to learn more about imaging and photographic work to
get that better picture. As early as 1983 Zander was into computer artwork with
the Tandy 1000 and a Vic 20, and moving forward to 1994 Windows 3.1. Learning a
lot more about computers from there Zander also takes interest in HTML and
website creation and re-sparks the interest in music making with the Playstation
in 1999 while going back to College for networking and A+. Now
inspired by the power of computers, Zander brings forth his creativity ranging
from his photography, imaging, and music. Armed with various tools of the trades
started music production under the handle "Dj Zander" in mid 2000 with
the release of his first song created "Hyperspeed" and posted it on
mp3.com (now defunct). Later changed the music handle name to Z Factor after
wanting to start publishing artwork on the net as well as wanting a more
commercial name. Zander has made over 50 songs and taken thousands of pictures
in his journey to find that inner emotion expressed into his images and
music. |
